Welcome!
YWAM Philippines has been hosting groups and teams since the 70's.
Whether you are a single person, family, church group or YWAM team of one to a hundred we can
take care of everything for you. From the moment you E-mail us with an interest to come to the time we put you on the airplane to send you home we are committed to assisting and partnering with you to make your short-term outreach trip fruitful, exciting and life changing!
Our 25 Bases, 300 staff, spread out between 7,000 islands of the Philippines makes us quite qualified to give your team the ultimate outreach experience and making an impact at the same time.
FIVE EASY STEPS:
1) Ask for our OPPORTUNITIES PAGE by Emailing gomitch2@hotmail.com and read through the list of all our OPPORTUNITIES around the Philippines.
2) We will then ask you some basic questions like: How many people are on your team? When do you plan to come? Are you traveling alone? Have you had any training with YWAM before? etc. This will help us to get to know you better.
3) Normally, after you answer these basic questions we will forward 'your profile' to about 30 of our YWAM Centers and Ministries around the country. Those ministries that have opportunities based on your original interests and schedule will start E-mailing you directly making proposals for you.
4) You can began to 'pick and choose' and 'pray through' which proposal (location and ministry options) sounds best for you and your team. You can back out at any time as the Lord leads. No problem. We are very flexible! It's as simple as that!
To come to the Philippines, all you generally need is a PASSPORT good for six-months. The vast majority of nationalities receive a FREE 21-Day VISA when you arrive at the Airport (check your nearest Philippine Consulate concerning your nationality first!).
SAMPLE: A round trip airfare from the U.S.A. to the Philippines is about $600-$800 and Food and Housing while you are with us is between $7-$12 a day. You'll need to throw in a few extra $ for 'run around-in-country' expenses.
A sample budget for a 18-day trip to the Philippines would cost about USD$1,100.
5) Ask for the 'OPPORTUNITIES PAGE' now...
Your form submission and initial communication will be received and handled by Mitch Metzger, YWAM Philippines Webmaster.
